Rona Easton studied architecture at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland and completed her Diploma in Architecture at the University of Westminster in London, England in 1990. She also holds a Masters degree in the history and theory of architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London which she received in 1988. She is a registered architect in the United Kingdom since 1991 and in 2003 she earned licensure in the United States in the State of New York. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional and is focused on sustainable research, planning and design. Before co-founding EASTON+COMBS she worked professionally in the U.K., Germany, China, and the United States. With a broad range of professional expertise in project planning to on site construction management, her range of experience includes completion of industrial, institutional, educational, commercial, office and laboratory buildings. Since her arrival in New York City in 1998 she has been the managing architect and overseen the completion of several projects in the New York metropolitan area totaling over half a million square feet of built area.
